He was predeceased by: his parents, John Darrell Mitchell and Mary Alice Hardman; his siblings, Darrell Mitchell, Ray Hurst, David Kay Mitchell and Debra Jo Rigby; his daughter Jackie Mitchell; and his uncle Larry Hardman.
He is survived by: his wife Jacki Ward Wynn; his children, Holly Ramos (Luis), Vanessa Rodriguez, Zachary Wynn (Alicia Hudson) and Sasha Wynn; his siblings, Shawna Isaacson of Utah, Dawna Ellis of Utah, Boyd Gledhill of Arizona, Wendy Metcalf of Utah and Jenny Anne Johansson of Texas; and his grandchildren, Teagan, Taya, Dylan, Jacoby, Kaia, Cheyenne, Austin, Phoebe and Patrick.
