He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Kober and Mary Kober; his siblings, Agnes Kober, Betty Stolzenburg and Virgil Kober (Violet); and his brother-in-law Gerald Prosser.
He is survived by: his wife Vena; his children, Michael (Sherrie) of Boise and Theresa Stone (Stuart) of Olympia, WA; his sisters, Leona Prosser of Great Bend, KS, Bernadette Schmidt (Joe) of Wamego, KS and Helen Beebe (Dennis) of Wichita, KS; and his brother-in-law Dennis Stolzenburg (Peggy) of Salina, KS.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
