He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Thorusen and Jack Thorusen. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Richard Thorusen (Leisa), Joshua Kear Thorusen (Lonie) and James Kole Thorusen (Felicia); his wife Yvonne Thorusen; and his brothers, Jim (Doreen) and Jerry Thorusen (Lea). He is also survived by his in-laws, and his many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
