It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Bird (Boise, Idaho), who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Foster and William Foster; her siblings, June Haines and Edward "Bud" Foster; her former husband Kenneth DeVore; and her husband Melvin C. Bird.

She is survived by: her children, Terry DeVore (Debbie) and Del Lou Smith (Bill). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

In her honor, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Idaho Humane Society, or that a simple act of kindness be extended to someone in your community.
