“I have many memories of Carmen - most of her and Nancy when David was still little - maybe 6 or 7? One in particular that speaks to me about her character was when they went to Mexico on vacation and I went with them to the airport and picked them up in her car (red Jeep, maybe? Dave put stickers all over the back seat!) and she just handed me the keys and told me to drive it the whole time if I wanted. I had some beater car back then, so it was really fun to jet around in. RIP, Carmen. XO”
