It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Platt (Boise, Idaho), born in Ontario, Oregon, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Becky; his parents, Bernice Platt and Don Platt; his siblings, Marjorie Plaza (Dan) and Bill Jones; his nephew Louie Plaza; his parents-in-law, Frank Aldape and Connie Aldape; and his brother-in-law Tony Aldape.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Aldape (Basque); his children, Linda Williams (Mike) and Barry Platt; his grandchildren, Dustin Williams (Candy) and Sheena Markwell; his great grandchildren, Xander Markwell, Isabelle Williams, Maleigha Markwell, Madeline Williams and Taye Markwell; his niece Julie Plaza-Parker; and his nephew Ben Plaza.

“Barry and Linda, I send condolences on the passing of your Dad. I really liked Chuck and his grand sense of humor, although we were politically on opposite sides of the fence. He and my Mom, Betty Jefferson were great friends and swam together at the YMCA and as she developed dementia and passed was always a dear sweet friend to her and I bless him for his kindness to her. I thought of him this Veterens Day and his service in Korea and was saddened by his passing. Dr. Anne Church”
