He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Shinn and Floy Shinn; his spouse Mardelle Stephens; and his son Steve. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Zareena) and Aaron (Georgann); his grandchildren, Randie, Buck, Zane and Elise; and his brothers, Reed, Duane and Gary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
