He is survived by: his wife Pat; his siblings, Rich Hormachea (Mary) and Dolores Hormaechea Chapman (Don); his stepson Austin Thompson; his nieces and nephews, Richard Scott (Pam), Daniel Scott, Amy Hormaechea Wray (Rod), Julie Hormaechea and Michael Hormaechea (Carmen); and his uncle Dan'. He is also survived by twelve great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home (1100 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713-7805). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cloverdale Memorial Park (1200 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713). A reception was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Basque Center (601 W Grove St, Boise, ID 83702).
