He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Floyd Herron and Beverley Lou Myers Herron; and his son William Alexander "Bill" Herron. He is survived by: his wife Jody; his children, Christi Thompson (David), Becky Herron, Dan Herron and Julie Herron; his granddaughter Xandra Herron; and his siblings, Diane Berry, Greg Herron and Scott Herron.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the S. Maple Grove LDS Chapel (5645 S Maple Grove Rd, Boise, ID 83709). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
