He is survived by: his mother Joan Fuhriman McCune; his wife Nancy; his children, Kristin Kershaw (Myron), Jennie Davies (Brent), Rohn McCune (Emily), Brandon McCune and Broc McCune (Melanie); his siblings, Linda Hoffman (Bob), Gary McCune (Lori), Donna Buhrig (Butch), Jim McCune (Stacie), John McCune (Debbie), Brent Schulthies (Elaine), Van Schulthies (Susan), Launa Frahm (Rod), Preston Schulthies (Sheryl) and Travis Schulthies (Pam); and his brothers-in-law, Brent Hartley and Neill Goodfellow. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and expecting his first great grandchild.

“I was shocked to hear of Dave's passing. We just had lunch a few months before catching up on our lives after retirement. He was a good friend and enjoyed sitting in his office talking about everything and watching the Zions Bank building go up. Before his retirement he had told me all he wanted to do was build good memories with the people around him. He loved his family and would share those adventures they took. He will be missed. I will miss him. He was a good human! RIP my friend!”
