He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Schneider; his brother Joseph Schneider; his father-in-law Bill Tyson Jr.; and his brother-in-law Bill Tyson III. He is survived by: his mother Judith Schneider; his son Joseph; his wife Jean Schneider; his children, April Schneider, Anne Rank (Jordan), Joe Schneider and John Schneider; his grandson Elias Rank; his siblings, Cece Norton (Brian), Bill Schneider (Vera) and Elizabeth Hastreiter; his mother-in-law Eleanor Tyson; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Tyson (Sandy), Ann Williamson (Curt) and Judy Mackanic (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Boise Bicycle Project, an organization in which Mike was involved.
