With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Francis Evans (Boise, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Donald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pat, Bud and Jim. He is survived by: his children, Don Jr. Work (Melanie), Matt (Gerrie) and Elizabeth (Mark); his grandsons, Jack and Andy; his brother Tom (Kathy); and his close friend Kimber (Sharon). He is also survived by friends, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Don's family would love it if you have a nice piece of pie, play a game of tennis, cast a line on the river, admire the birds frolicking, hug your family, and/or play a little Louis Armstrong in his memory.
