She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sparling and Ruth Sparling; her sister Vivette (Allan); and her son Peter. She is survived by: her former husband Peter Soderlund; her husband Allan Shepard; her sons, Matthew (Michelle) and Christopher; and her stepchildren, Lynn, Paul and Ann Shepard. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
