He was predeceased by: his brother Lincoln B. Colwell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Colwell; his children, Drew Colwell (Jen) of Helena and Claire Angel (Kyle) of Boise; his siblings, Megan G. Colwell (Bonnie Stewart) of Portland, Honor Colwell (Ken Hazucha) of Binghamton, Gabriela Villalobos of San Diego and Joshua Colwell (Kai) of Montross, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Dotty and Archer; his nephews, Mario Bruzzone of Brooklyn, Douglas Bruzzone of Sacramento and Max; and his niece Heidi Colwell of Portsmouth.
