He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neal Givens and Mollie Smith Givens; his siblings, Robert Neal Givens Jr. (Winifred), Wanda Gifford (Harry "Bud"), Mary Josephine "Jo" Jones (Herb) and Bertha Bachand (Val); and his granddaughter Hannah Simanton.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Ann Givens; his wife Eileen Klam; his son-in-law Craig Simanton; his granddaughters, Grace and Elyse Simanton; his niece Melissa Jo Larned (Richard); and his nephews, Robert Givens (Pat), Harry Gifford (Andrea) and James Gifford.
