He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Coleman and Stella Coleman; his wife Donna; his brothers, Robert and Thomas O. Coleman; his son Thomas M. Coleman; his in-laws, Bill and Edna Bremmer; his sister-in-law Joan Barber; and his daughter-in-law Marilyn Coleman.
He is survived by: his sons, Dick (Shirleen) and Don (Becky); his siblings-in-law, Norm Barber and Lois Coleman; and his grandchildren, Michele Lauer (Erich), Nicole Coleman (Courtney), Barbara Anne Rust (Ryan), Angela Langstaff (Russell), Nicholas Purdy (Katie), Michael Coleman (Vanessa), Sean Coleman (Keila) and Daniele Coleman (Derek Terrill). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
