He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Leon Shurtliff and Melba Dorothy Shurtliff (Hunting). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Karyl; his son-in-law Mark E. Kirkland of Boise; and his brothers, Lynn of Lexington and Rick of Vancouver.
