He is survived by: his former wife Paulette Bennett; his wife Suzanne Bush (Suzee); and his children, Lori Larsen (Reid) of Evanston, WY, Jeffrey Broders (Estee) of Gig Harbor, WA, Melanie Butterfield (Craig), Chris Broders (Kim Thomas) of Boise, ID and Matt Broders (Kietra) of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

“I have been wondering why I have not heard from my old buddy. So I thought I had better find out if he was having more heart issues. Finding out his passing is a shock to say the least. Kirk was one of my best friends all the way through high school, and we stayed in touch for almost sixty years. He was a great guy, a dear friend, and I will miss his smart a$$ humor most of all. RIP my dear friend i will miss you!!! Dave Burgess”
