He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Ireland Mahaffey and Thelma Ilene Hutchison Mahaffey; his sister Arlene; his son Jason; and his pets, Sunny, Abby, Sadie and Bailey.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Noah, Abbie, West, Rita, Faye and Halle; his wife Barbara; his children, Tina (Brett), Shannon, Mike and Matt (Kate); his daughter-in-law Laila; and his sister Sharon Wilson (Speed).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beside Bardenay (612 W Grove St, Boise, ID 83702).
