Lloyd Harrel Kidd Obituary

Lloyd Kidd, 69, a long-time resident of Boise, ID, passed away Oct. 28, 2017, at St. Alphonsus Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Lloyd was born to Cecil Kidd and Ella (Hall) on September 2, 1948, in Grethel, KY.

Lloyd fathered five children born out of two marriages including: Travis Kidd (Seattle, WA), Joshua and Maria Kidd (Kuna, ID), Adam and Jessica Kidd (Spooner, WI), Isaiah and Jessica Kidd (Sarona, WI), and Hillary and Andrew Kidd (Spooner, WI). At the time of his passing, Lloyd also had 19 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children.

A proud American and army veteran, Lloyd served multiple tours in Vietnam. He also served in Korea and Honduras, later continuing enlistment in the National Guard and Reserves, including working at Boise's own Veteran's hospital for several years.

In Lloyd's retirement, He enjoyed traveling, garage sales, paintings, jewelry and watches, arrowhead hunting in the desert of Idaho's heartland, and was right at home spending most of his time outside on the porch with his family and friends.

Lloyd is survived by his children and grandchildren, brothers Danny Kidd and Karl Miller, and sisters Louellen and Louise.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ella Miller, father Cecil Kidd, stepfather Hobart Miller, and his brother Keath Miller.

Lloyd loved his family very much, and will be missed dearly by everyone who had been lucky enough to have met him in this life.

Funeral services were held on Wed., Nov. 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise.
