She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Payne and Myrtle Payne; her sisters, Rose and Jolene; her husband Jim (Jim); her sister Suzy Leavitt; and her grandson James McDaniel.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe McDaniel (Val), Miles McDaniel (Nicole) and Rhett McDaniel (Marsha). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
