She was predeceased by: her parents, James Venson and Bessie Pearl Vitley (Garlock); her siblings, Josephine Coates, Mary Watts, Pearl Miller, Ed Vitley, Junior Vitley and Tony Vitley; her daughter-in-law Marci Whitaker; and her son Rick Whitaker.

She is survived by: her husband Vernon Green; her sons, Jeff Whitaker, Robert Whitaker (Sherry), Brian Green and Kelly Green; and her brother Joe Vitley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
