He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Barrus and Orlean Barrus; his former wife Beth Ballard; his brother Hunter; his daughter Carolyn Redick; and his son-in-law Ulises Lozano.
He is survived by: his wife Melodee Morgan; his children, Ruel (Kaylene), Brent, Deana Reese (Eric) and Diane Lozano; his son-in-law Richard Redick; and his stepchildren, Mindy McGrew, Jeremy McGrew (Elena), Mariah Arnett (Craig), Jesse McGrew, Jasper McGrew (Sharlene), Mikaela McGrew (Michael Heighes) and Micah Smith (Joshua). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
