With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Miren Gurutzne Jayo (Boise, Idaho), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Miren Gurutzne left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Mari Beristain Maiz and Eufemia Piquer Belaustegui; her husband Cecil Jayo; and her siblings, Imanol, Joseba, Jon, Itziar, Javier and Nicasi "Nick" (Alice Beristain).
She is survived by: her son David Jayo; her sister Begoña Beristain; her sister-in-law Alice Beristain; and her nieces, Diane Records (Bob), Teresa Beristain, Kathleen Beristain and Mary LaBere (Tom). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (807 N 8th St, Boise, ID 83702). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
