She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Platz and Beulah Platz; her brother Dan; and her husband Dick Ellison. She is survived by : her nephew David Platz; her siblings-in-law, Kay Thorsfeldt and Keith Ellison; her niece Jane Mowry (Ron); and her aunt Jean.
