He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clarence Bartschi and Mary Margurite Porter; his brothers, Ross and Denton; and his son Kevin.

He is survived by: his wife Afton LaVonne Jenson; and his children, Kent, Nola (John Kelly) and Kari (late Dave Christensen).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Relyea Funeral Chapel (318 N Latah St, Boise, ID 83706).
