He was predeceased by: his parents, Hope Halstead and Jim Halstead; his siblings, Jim, Jack, Lorraine, Bobbie and Joyce; and his daughter Shannon.

He is survived by: his son Dave; his daughter-in-law Rhonda; his granddaughter Lisa; his adoptive son Scott; his daughter-in-law Tawna; his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Sue; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
