Eric Shield wrote a sympathy message

“I was saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. Please accept my deepest sympathies for all who loved and cherished our friend “SeaverBob”. I have very fond memories of the 1968 cross country trip he and I made, of riding motorcycles and of watching him race his custom BSA 441 Victor at Lake Elsinore raceway, Perris raceway and other Southern California venues. God Bless you Bob!!”

Deane Beck wrote a sympathy message

“I am very sad to learn of Bob's passing. Bob was raised on a citrus property located in the then rural Orange County, CA. Bob's family operated California's premier motorcycle dealer where his business skills and a passion for vintage cars and motorcycles were cultivated. As a prominent Real Estate Agent, Bob with his beloved late wife Susann, played a significant role in the growth of Orange County. My deepest condolences to Bob's brother David, cherished sons Jeff and Scott and families.”
