Laurel & Lloyd Blackstone wrote a sympathy message

“Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Rod was a good hearted friend and coworker. My husband actually went with him to check "Gracie" out before he bought that beautiful Mustang. Then they worked together to get her running so Rod could drive her home. We enjoyed going to the car shows with him and his family and especially seeing him win trophy after trophy! But he was even more proud of his girls and lit up when he talked about their accomplishments. Rod, you will be missed.”
