It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Waldo Thurber of Boise, Idaho, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Waldo Thurber and Evian Thurber (Seetin); his wife Rena Thurber (Schartner); his children, Tina Erekson (Jeff), Heidi Kennedy (Randy) and Ryan Thurber (Jessica); and his siblings, Gary Thurber (Vicki), Karen Duffy (late Dale) and Rick Thurber (Jinny). He was also cherished by 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren.

From mentoring me through Boy Scouts, to teaching me drafting in his beautiful downtown office. His love for Family, the church, the Egyptian and so much more remained with me for life. He was instrumental in helping to get a blessing in our lives many years ago with fostering a little girl in our family. we were able to raise her to adulthood and beyond. I enjoyed his musical talents many times during the years. Also loved his little Rena in the primary many years ago. love and hugs to his family. where is he now is such a comfort. Judy Fuller”
