She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Robert and Nettiemarie "Sally"; her brother-in-law Roger; her sons, Shawn and Robin; her daughter-in-law Jenniffer; her grandchildren, Dylan and Abigail; her sisters, Linda (Russ) and Carol (Dean); her nieces and nephews, Brigette (Eddie), Amber (Tim), Jordan (Josh), Bob (Linda), Barbara, Brian (Tammy) and Beth (Matt); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kieron, Edward (Kristina), Bea, Winnie, Corinne (Christian) and Lauren (Hugo); and her friend Genie Pope.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Treasure Family YMCA or the Idaho Humane Society, which were causes close to Ruth's heart.
