He is survived by: his siblings, Ruthie Eason (Larry), Charlene Braswell of Oakland, TN, Easter Tynes (Henry) of Rossville, TN, Mary Williams (Henry), Dorothy Randolph (Andrew) of Milwaukee, WI, Shirley Carroll of Memphis, TN, Peggy Mabone of Memphis, TN, Christine Deener (Melvin) of Memphis, TN, James Leven Carroll (Mavis) of Milwaukee, WI, James Leon Carroll Jr. of Memphis, TN, Frank Grandberry (Tekita) of Somerville, TN and Henry Grandberry (Oretha) of Collierville, TN; his close friend Rita Jones of Boise, ID; and his aunt Helen Jackson of Oakland, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Serenity Funeral Home (1638 Sycamore View Rd, Memphis, TN 38134). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
