With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott William Wendling (Boise, Idaho), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Wendling and Kathleen Wendling; his children, Jacob (Jaime), Abbie (Matt), Sara (Ryan) and Seth; and his siblings, Mark, Sue and Ann.

In lieu of flowers, Scott would so appreciate donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints General Missionary Fund or Humanitarian Fund.

“Eileen, I only recently learned of Scott's passing, and devastated does not even begin to describe how I felt. I grew up with Scott back in Dayton Ohio, and would like to think he and I were best friends. I last saw Scott back in the 70 's when I spent the night at his New Carlisle Ohio home, and we went to the Clark County Ohio Fair. Since that date, we went our separate ways, and I now reside in Panama City Beach Florida and was hoping to reconnect. My thoughts and prayers are with You.”
