He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hakes and Martha Hakes; and his brother James Hakes. He is survived by: his wife Christine Olivier; his children, Allison Hawkins (Bruce) of Green Bay, Apryl Varner of Hartford, WI and Robert McCormick (Janice) of Palmyra; and his sister Pamela Cengiz (Douglas). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and one niece.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (701 S Curtis Rd, Boise, ID 83705).
