He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas David and Virginia Tilden; his former wife Peggy Ruth (Peggy); and his son-in-law Mark Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Leora Day; his children, Judith Anderson (Mark), Michael Tilden (Kara) and Patty O'Neill (Derrick); and his friends, Al, Pat Henderson, Marilyn Buxton, Thomas and Leora.
After an internship in Mobile, Alabama and pediatric residency in New Orleans at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Charity Hospital, Thomas entered private practice in southwest Louisiana.
