He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vernon, Ruth Acheson, Robert and Betty Gardner; and his aunt Sylvia Ross (Acheson).
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Gardner and Sherry Gardner (Acheson).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tyson's name to the Ronald McDonald House.
