It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma J. (Willie) Scheel (Boise, Idaho), born in Rupert, Idaho, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Anderson and Luella Anderson; and her brothers, Robert and Meldon Anderson. She is survived by: her husband James E. Scheel; her friends, Jim and Willie; her children, Jeff Scheel (Ana) of Rochester, Minnesota, Sheila Giffen (Perry) of Boise, Idaho and Cindy Anneke (Corey) of La Crosse, Wisconsin.; her grandchildren, Alex (Nick Scheel), James, Austin (Katelyn Giffen) and Riley (Cade Anneke); and her siblings, Carol Brown and Steve Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given in support of CMML research at Mayo Clinic where Willie participated in a clinical trial and was one of the longest survivors of this rare cancer. Donations can be made by phone, online or by mail.
