Beverly Adele (Wilson) Saul Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly "Bev" Adele (Wilson) Saul (Bonners Ferry, Idaho), born in Westwood, California on July 24, 1931, who passed away on October 30, 2021. She graduated from San Juan High School in Citrus Heights, CA in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart, Melvin E. Saul on August 14, 1948 in Reno, NV. They were married for 72 years until Melvin passed away on February 21, 2021. Beverly had a heart for volunteer work. She served with the American Red Cross for 25 years in their bloodmobile operation. In addition, she volunteered as a Pink Lady at hospitals in Woodland, CA and Grants Pass, OR.
She was a 60 plus year member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international womens' community friendship sorority. She held many offices and served on many committees over the years She was especially proud of the scholarships the sorority provided to local students each year.
She was an avid reader a very competitive Scrabble player and loved to travel. Her favorite mode of travel was cruising.
She is survived by her children: John Saul and wife Diane of Grants Pass, OR, Carol Saul Jackson and husband Dan, of Burleson, TX and Mike Saul and wife, Gayle of Sandpoint, ID. Grandchildren: Kari (Ryan) Woods of Minot, ND, Kelsi (Brad) of Burleson, TX, Gregory (Veronica) Saul of Grants Pass, OR and Chelsea (Mark) Saul Weagel of Reno, NV. Great grandchildren: Jayden, Peyton, & Leo Saul of Grants Pass, OR and Flint Rogers of Burleson, TX.
No service is planned at this time. Per her wishes she will be cremated.
