He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermer Roop (Tex) and Hazel Roop; his brothers, Dustin (Dusty) and Robert (Dink); and his grandson Sam Robyn Michael Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Patricia Lawrence (Pat) and Frank Roop; and his children, Patricia Embry (Stan), Katrina Wagner (Jonathan), Tex Roop (Amy), Amanda Anderson and Linden Roop. He is also survived by six grandsons, four granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
