He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boyd (Diane Boyd) and Florence Boyd; his stepson Jerry Scholl; his daughter Connie Lupton; his grandson Geoffery Goss; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Scholl.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Haring (Paul), Kris Barrett, Gary Scholl and Toni Bowen. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes and encourages donations to be made in his name to the Magic Valley Jr. Golf Foundation.
