He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ruhter and Sylvia DeWitt Ruhter; and his siblings, Allan and Pam (Tom Steele). He is survived by: his children, Derek (Kathy Farrow) of Bellevue, ID, Lance (Katie Witman) of Phoenix, AZ, Lon (Marie) of Omaha, NE and Rochelle Ahrens (Tracy) of Jerome, ID.; his granddaughter Sharon; his wife Sharon Ruhter; and his siblings, Sharon McGregor, Diane Olsen (Jim Olsen), Marilyn Plott (Larry Plott), Terry Ruhter (Chiu Mei) and James Ruhter (Carol Ruhter).
