He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Smyer and Renee Eames Smyer Holtman. He is survived by: his children, Colton Smyer (Maritza) of Pocatello and Megan Smyer of Rexburg; his grandsons, Malakai Darren Smyer and Noah John Smyer of Pocatello; and his siblings, Roxanne Gillette of Burley, Rick Smyer of Mackay and Dennie Smyer (Natalie) of Springdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Albion Senior Citizens Center in Darren's name.
