He was predeceased by: his parents, David Kent and Thelma Elison Severe; his brother Kent Severe; his sisters-in-law, Judy Severe and Diann Severe; and his grandson Sean Loughmiller.
He is survived by: his close friend Sally; and his children, JuliAnn Loughmiller (Heber) of Elba, David Severe (Kristi) of Devil Creek, Kerri Darrington (Ryn) of Declo, Branden Severe (Cynthia) of Malta and Matt Severe (Anna) of Castleford. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1198 E 2000 S, Elba, ID 83342).
