He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Heward and Dora Heward; his in-laws, Calvin and Raeola Crane; and his sister-in-law Anita Heward.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rebecca Mangan (John), Ida Nay (Jonny), Kristin Spence (David), Janine Wilson (Spencer), Willie Heward (Sherrie), Alan Heward (Melody), Lynn Heward (Carla), Lorn Heward (Danette) and Gwen Brower (Greg); and his children, Mandy Shupe (Brian), Melanie Christensen (Ron), Jared Heward (Rachel), Aaron Heward (Carolyn) and Whitney Gneiting (Josh).
