With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ilene Critchfield Mai of Burley, Idaho, born in Oakley, Idaho, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Golden Nile and Wanda Nelson Critchfield; her brother Scott Critchfield; and her husband Bill Mai. She is survived by : her children, Kalli Mai Carico of Boise, Eric William Mai (Christina) of Boise and Kristen Mai Campos (Jesse) of Boise; her grandchildren, Brock Fairchild (Kourtney), Kolt Mai Carico, Taylor Mai (Brittany), Colby Mai (Kassaundra), Brady Mai, Rylee Converse (Mark), Shea Randall, Brittlyn Randall, Jacoby Kechter, Kaylee (Nate) of Wit and Bode Campos; her great grandchildren, Malia Fairchild, Brooklyn Fairchild, Kai Carico, Emric of Wit and Kase Converse; her siblings, Cheryle Bateman (Lee) of Boise, Janice Wiseman of Milford, Krinn McCoy (Chuck) of Jarbidge, Karma Davis (Byron) of Sandy and Jeff Critchfield (Shawnae) of Burley; and also, Bob Mai (Vera) of Rupert, Jim Mai (Barbara) of Burley, Jack Mai (Merete) of Burley, Jerry Mai (Billie) of Payette, Helen Haynes of Burley, Bryan and Sharla Bessire of Heyburn.
