It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James H. Edgerly in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. "Bud" Edgerly and Maurine Edgerly. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles and Sally; his wife Carol Hvolboll; and his children, Scott Edgerly (Allison), Julie Jorgensen (Mark), Jennifer Edgerly, Bobby Whittall (Azhleigh), Rebecca Whittall (Richard Garrison) and Aimee Gobel (Ryan). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Union Pioneer Cemetery.
