We bid farewell to LaMont Anderson of Burley, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 82. LaMont touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Constant Leon and Lucy Maude Price Anderson; his adoptive parent Linnet Mecham; his son Delon; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Kirk Christian and Ian.
He is survived by: his wife Shirlene Afton Baker; his brother Neil Leon Anderson (Donna) of Burley; and his children, Daryl Anderson (LeAnn) of Kennewick, Kirk Anderson (Staci) of Gilbert, Brett Anderson (Tiffany) of Burley, LaRinda Brady (Kale) of Evanston, Wyoming and Alex (Salina). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home (1350 E 16th St, Burley, ID 83318). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Star 1st (96 S. 200 W. 84335).
