He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Clyde and Bessie Charlotte Thaxton (Hacking); his sister Carolyn Peterson; and his great grandchild Brayzen Reno (Karol Grenier). He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Huber (late Richard) and Elaine Zahnizer (Ron); his children, Tracey Lowell Thaxton (Lynnete) of Rupert and Karnel Thaxton Brashear (Dan) of Burley; and his close friend Harold Grenier. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home (1350 E 16th St, Burley, ID 83318). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
