He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his children, Alicia Amos (Sheldon), Beatris Gonzalez, Mario Vega Jr. and Jasmine Vega; and his siblings, Jesus, Leobardo, Agustin, Candido, Jorge, Adan, Belen, Serafina and Maria Guadalupe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and cousins.
