She was predeceased by : her parents, Lyle Prindle and Esther Coleman Prindle; her husband Jack Merritt Smith (O. Dude Ranch); and her brothers, Stan Prindle, Bruce Prindle and Charles Prindle.

She is survived by : her children, Mike Smith (Tammy) of Richfield, Idaho, Julie Cole (Steve) of Duluth and Lori Smith (Shawn Woodworth) of Boise, Idaho; her grandchildren, Ryan Swalling, Kelsey Swalling (Josef Moore), Jimmy O'Dell (Bobbi Jo), Tucker Smith and Tawni Smith; her great grandchildren, Ian O'Dell, Mykie O'Dell and Amira Moore; her sisters, Sandra Thompson and Verna Rowley; and her siblings-in-law, Myrna Prindle, Myrna Smith and Gary Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
